Most will buy the argument that there is not a huge difference between the better FCS schools and the lower tier of FBS schools. But when an FCS school from little Cedar City, Utah drives to Las Vegas and runs away from their nearest FBS school, people should take note. Brad Sorensen had an awful game, 16/34 for 177 yards 0 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. The Thunderbirds had only 257 yards of total offense, but took advantage of 5 Rebel turnovers to win by 25. The Thunderbirds scored 3 times on interceptions returned for touchdowns.
SUU MVP: Nick Witzman, Blake Fenn and Erron Vonner who each returned an interception for a touchdown.
