Report on the Game...Montana State at Utah

Final Score: Utah 27 Montana State 10
Utah MVP: Safety Brian Blechen--2 Interceptions.

Utah's new offense looked a little shaky to begin with.  They have their work cut out for them if they want to beat USC next week.  However, with the defense playing well, anything is possible.  Brian Blechen made this victory possible for the Utes with a pair of interceptions.  The first one was returned inside the 10 yard line to set up a score and the second one was on a 4th and long.  As the first half ended, the game seemed as if it would end up with a comfortable Ute victory, but Rob Ash rallied his troops at halftime and the Bobcats held the Utes to just a lone field goal in the second half.  The Utah defense played very well.  At times, DaNarius McGhee looked like he was trying to win the game himself.  This is because the defense did well enough to take all of the supporting players out of the game.
