The season came to an end for three of five Region 1 teams on Friday.
Davis 28 West 7
Tanner Hinds steamrolled the Panthers in Kaysville on Friday afternoon. West's Afeaki had a good game as well, but they were only able to find pay dirt once and that was in the fourth quarter.
Alta 38 Fremont 14
The Silver Wolves gained a second quarter lead at 14-12. Then the Hawks really came alive. The second half was completely one-sided.
Cottonwood 23 Viewmont 7
This game turned on a fourth down play late in the first half. It was all Colts from that point on.
Hunter 24 Weber 20
The Wolverines stymied a Warrior comeback attempt in West Valley. Ends a really nice late season for Weber.
Syracuse 31 Skyline 7
Tanner Russell became a mad-man in the fourth quarter. The Titans put up 21 in the final frame. Russell picked a good time for his best game of the year so far.
