High School Report

Fremont 30 Viewmont 26

The three-way tied scenario is over, for now.  The Vikings are now fighting for their future.  This truly was a battle of equals.  The difference was a second quarter int return by the Wolves Braxton Willie.  After this score, the two teams traded scores.  Good game.

Layton 42 Clearfield 24

Latyon secured this game early and the Falcons salvaged some pride at the end of the game.  As expected, Adam Bunting was big.

Northridge 35 Roy 0

I did not expect the Knights to lay down and let the Royals get their first win of the year.  Their playoff hopes are still on life support.  The trouble is that they need Clearfield or Roy to take down Viewmont.  But, they can still salvage the rest of the season.

Syracuse 9 Weber 0

The Titans put the game in the hands of their defense.

Technically, no one has punched a ticket to the state playoffs yet, but the Darts and Titans are virtual locks.

Offensive Player of the Week: Layton RB Adam Bunting
