Davis 17 Pleasant Grove 9
Even though the Vikings kept Tanner Hinds out of the end zone, they still found a way to win. Junior Quarterback Gavin Fowler passed for two scores. The Dart defense kept future Cardinal Dallas Lloyd in check the entire game. Tanner did get 182 yards in spite of not finding pay dirt.
Bingham 38 Syracuse 3
This game was tied at 3 in the second quarter. The Bengals grabbed the momentum when they blocked a punt deep in the Syracuse end of the field and scored a touchdown from it. The Miners then turned a 10-3 halftime lead into a blowout.
Next week: Davis gets Hunter and Bingham gets Alta at Rice Eccles.
