Report on the Game--Fresno State 37 Weber State 10
Fresno State pulled away late from FCS Weber State. The Bulldogs held a tenuous 24-10 lead...and 3 times in the second half, Weber State drove the ball with a chance to cut the lead to 7. Even though the Bulldog defense bent, they did not break. They held Weber State to only 67 rushing yards. Mike Hoke was intercepted by Sean Alston with 8:34 to go when the score was still 27-10 and Fresno State scored on the very next play and that busted the game wide open.
