Clearfield 14 at Weber 33
I planned on making the second half of the Clearfield at Weber game this week, but was delayed. I had to ask people what happened. The Warriors came away with an impressive second half performance to run up the score on the Falcons. This is good football. Controlling the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. The Warriors deserve credit for winning the battle of the trenches and running down the Falcons.
Fremont 36 at Layton 16
The Standard Examiner this morning reported that Fremont won this game becuase they had the hunger. If that is the case, the Silver Wolves were feasting and the Lancers were snacking. This was a smack down. Brody Garr had another great game, throwing 3 touchdown passes.
Davis 21 at Northridge 17
It's one thing to come from behind when you are a passing team, but when you are a running team like Davis, it is more impressive. Tanner did not have his best game of the year, but was the difference at the end.
Roy 0 at Syracuse 42
An impressive homecoming for the Titans even considering the competition.
Viewmont 21 at Bountiful 23
Again, another close one as the Vikings can't quite seal the comeback. A scenario that has played out many times in this cross-town rivalry.
