Utah State looks better than we thought they would be, if we are to believe the Oklahoma Sooners. The Aggies put the scare on them. After OU took a 21-0 lead, USU took the rest of the game and the final was 31-24. Demarco Murray was the man for the Sooners and converted a key 4th down in the fourth quarter that kept the ball out of the hands of Diondre Borel for one last drive. The Aggies are going to cause a lot of headaches this season.

Twenty years ago, I sat in a hotel room in Seattle, Washington and saw Ty Detmer and his team beat #1 Miami en route to Ty's Heisman campaign. This year, the BYU defense had something to say about the Heisman trophy. If Jake Locker does not get that coveted prize, he will look back on his failures late in the game in Provo this season. Hats off to the BYU defense in holding the Huskies scoreless in the 4th quarter.
