Weber State releases men's basketball schedule 2011-12

Impressive schedule. Glad WSU was able to schedule the Utes, BYU, USU, and SUU (by conference affilliation) It'd be cool if they could schedule UVU too, since they think they belong in the WAC.
I had a conversation with a WSU insider about the very topic and reminded him that it took a while before BYU, Utah and Utah State would schedule Weber State on a regular basis. Sometimes it takes a while for these rivalries to get going. However, with Utah in the PAC-12 and SUU in the Big Sky in 2012-13, there may be an opening for UVU in the future.
Also, not mentioned here, but the Big Sky Tournament will begin on Saturday, March 4, 2012 with the 6th seed visiting the 3rd seed and the 5th seed visiting the 4th seed. It will continue the following Tuesday at the site of the regular season champion and conclude with the championship game on Wednesday March 8, 2012.
