More about markets. Here is a list of the top 10 fastest growing markets b,etween 2000 and 2010 that do not currently have an FBS-level college sports program. Perhaps, one day, you will see some of these universities in bowl games. Some of these communities are still a little small, but need to have a population of at least 50,000.

5. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. 2010 Population: 325,000. No colleges or universities.
6. Bend, Oregon. 2010 Population: 157,000. No colleges or universities.
