RSL Schedule Released

I've been quiet lately. I'm not into college basketball like I used to be. The game has been weakened by the large number of good players who leave early for a shot at the NBA. I also think that the NBA has been weakened as well. If the NBADL can survive the economy and develop into a real farm system for the big league, the entire basketball world will be better. The player who can not be serious about academics will not have to pretend to care for one year at a place like the University of Arizona awaiting the NBA draft. I'm pulling for the Flash and the rest of the NBADL to succeed. It's too bad they do not have a good power forward there.

Another league I have expressed concern about has released their 2009 schedule. The RSL schedule is more balanced now that they do not have to work around the University of Utah Spring football practice and fall football season schedule. And we get the Rocky Mountain Cup home field advantage this year. No more packing home games in June, July and August while having to start and finish the season with most of the games on the road.

Super Bowl XLIII

There are now only 5 NFL franchises that have not had the opportunity to play in a Super Bowl. They are:

Detroit Lions
Cleveland Browns
New Orleans Saints
Jacksonville Jaguars
Houston Texans

If I have any readers out there, I ask, who will be the last of these franchises to reach the big game?
